[00:00:00] Speaker A: Take a walk with Bianca through the fire, through the favor. We walk with freedom, we walk with fulfillment, we walk with truth, we walk with purpose and we walk with seats. [00:00:21] Speaker B: Good morning, Happy Wednesday, and welcome to the Power Walk. Yes, indeed. Aqua Therapy edition. I published an article a couple of days ago highlighting a new project that is live in the world. I had an opportunity to move a Squarespace website over into the WordPress ecosystem. And I am very excited to say that it has been such an amazing journey moving that client away from Squarespace to their own ecosystem. These AI bots that are building websites where a lot of them look the same, some of them are not indexing well as it relates to Google. And so that puts you at a disadvantage if someone was searching for you. If you're not indexable, if it's not crawling your site, it means that someone would have to already have knowledge and know what to search for in order to find you. And so that does put organizations at a disadvantage if we're not intentional with how we are setting up our SEO and how we're optimizing certain spaces on the Internet in order for people to find you. I said I'm going to start doing courses because people have been asking me questions about creating their own website, securing their intellectual property, and because I have been through many things as it relates to winning a federal trademark dispute, to then acquiring digital assets and digital real estate. I want to be able to show you how to do that because, yeah, there was a person that almost lost their domain name and GoDaddy wanted to charge them $80,000 in order for them to get their domain name back. And it was their name. So it happens to a lot of content creators if you're not careful. So knowing the dates of when things renew, when they expire, having a plan in place on moving different tools, that makes the most financial sense. As all of these providers are going up on cost. Canva just went up on cost. Squarespace just went up on cost. I can go through the list of different tools that I use personally that I've seen an increase within the past year, and some of them are switching gears because they are adding more AI integration and features, which does come at a cost. And so how do you prepare yourself with all the different tools? You have people that have a subscription to OpenAI, you have people that have a subscription to Claude, you have people that have pro versions of Gemini. Again, all of these come at additional costs. So now I'm working with small businesses and organizations that are trying to determine what is their AI budget. How many credits do they need a month in order to fulfill operations and to do what they do? And then there are some entities that have completely shifted away from human capital to more of AI capital. And we're seeing some issues as it relates to that. So support is not the same. Being able to talk to a real human to get things resolved is few and far in between nowadays. And this is just the way that tech is shifting. And so there's a lot of controversy as it relates to data centers. Meanwhile, there are so many people that are using the Internet, are using these AI tools, and then have no idea [00:04:09] Speaker C: how all of it is stored. [00:04:11] Speaker B: Of course, I'm not for placing data centers in vulnerable areas where it will exhaust a power grid and it's unaffordable for people to live or it's taking all of its resources. But I do want us to think about our own Internet consumption and the [00:04:30] Speaker C: ways that we interact with technology. [00:04:32] Speaker B: I don't know if y' all know, but SD storage drives, flash drives are way more expensive now than they were previously. I shared that my 8 terabyte hard drive is more expensive than when I bought it previously. The price is going up, it's rising. So this is to all of my techies that you need to have some backup storage. And I'm not just talking about Dropbox and Google Drive. I'm talking about actual plug it up to the computer and you have a backup source. Because I'm telling you it's getting wilder and wilder on the Internet. And I'm not saying that to scare anyone. I'm just giving you an awareness of the things that I see day to day when literally AI bots are hacking each other. Let me put this article here on the screen so that you can see it when I'm telling you this. I'm telling you based on receipts. I'm not here to scare you or frighten you, but I will say that some of these developers have no idea what's happening and have no idea how to fix it. And so it's literally trial and error. And we are the test experiments, just like our children have been test experiments, experiments when they have been able to be on the Internet and we are now seeing meta that is going to be charged as it relates to his technology that he created and how harmful it is for children. But not just children, adults too. I watched a video where it talked about phone addiction. And it's something that I've been very vulnerable about on the podcast till that shit. And just in My day to day of my relationship with technology, my relationship with my phone. [00:06:05] Speaker C: And I'm here to tell you that [00:06:06] Speaker B: you need to evaluate that because these [00:06:08] Speaker C: apps and these platforms and these tools [00:06:11] Speaker B: and all of that, right, it comes at a cost. [00:06:13] Speaker C: And whether it's your time, your energy, it comes at a cost. [00:06:18] Speaker B: And so we need to be very intentional with our habits and our behavior [00:06:24] Speaker C: when we show up on the Internet, [00:06:25] Speaker B: but also how much time we're on [00:06:28] Speaker C: our phone and we are consuming. You got people that, their neck posture, [00:06:33] Speaker B: let me put a example on the [00:06:35] Speaker C: screen, so you can see their neck posture and the way that they sit up. [00:06:39] Speaker B: You have people that experience backaches and [00:06:41] Speaker C: ailments, all because they've been looking down at their phone. Now, going back to social media legislation, [00:06:49] Speaker B: I've been very vocal, I have been on the front lines as it relates to. [00:06:52] Speaker C: That we need regulation as it relates [00:06:55] Speaker B: to these AI chatbots. [00:06:56] Speaker C: I have talked about it on this [00:06:58] Speaker B: podcast before and I'm going to tell [00:06:59] Speaker C: you again, children are falling in love with AI chatbots and so are the adults, okay? But my main focus has been and will be on our children because our children deserve better and our children are falling in love with AI chatbots. The app of preference I'm seeing is character AI. However, there are so many other apps that are out there that I've highlighted, that I've documented, that I've talked about that you need to be aware of. You need to know what's on your children's phone. You need to know what they're giving access to, who they're communicating with, and the type of conversations that they're having. Because I am telling you there are children that are no longer here because of following the advice of their AI chatbot. And that's sad and it's not right. So we need regulation. And what does that look like? Hell, I don't know why? Because you have AI bots literally right now that are breaking out of their constraints and the developers don't know how to solve it and fix it. So the only thing that I could say as it relates to regulation is those conversations happening at home and those regulations happening when you give a child a device that you don't give them access to download any app on the App Store or in the Play Store unless you give them consent. I've highlighted them before and I'm going to highlight it again in this episode. For your children that are on the Android network, that use Google Android powered devices, the link that I'm sending you is directly from Google to show you how to set up Google Family Link. Google Family Link is their tool that they use for parental controls that you need to be aware of and that you need to have set up before you give a child a device. And even if a child already has a device, get that device back and install Family Link so that you know exactly what's going on on the device. Will it show you everything? Absolutely not. But it will allow you to control their screen time, what apps they download, and will give you a view of some of the things that they do and search for on their device. So it is a powerful tool. Again, for those that have a Google Android power device. Google Family Link is the parental control resource to help you know more about what's happening on your child's device. And it's free. Okay, Apple, for those that have iPhones, for your children who have iPads, I'm here to tell you that Apple has their own parental guidance tool that you can use so that you can prevent your child from downloading apps that you don't want them downloading or that you don't know what it is. And sometimes children are downloading apps at cost and they're not issuing refunds. I did a story a while back where a child had a Sonic app and they were downloading the extensions, getting more Sonic Rings, and charged. I want to say it was like $3,000 that child had charged on the mom's credit card, and Apple did not give a refund. And why would they? So it is important that you have parental controls on your children's device so that they're not buying ebooks and Roblox books and all the different virtual currencies that are out there with these different games. And speaking of, I don't know if you know, but the Tate brothers are currently in the court system, and it just recently came out that they had this fraudulent life that they were portraying on the Internet, saying that they were rich. And a lot of the things that they were flaunting and flexing on the Internet was rented and not owned by them. These individuals sold courses to our young children. And there were other content creators that developed parasocial relationships. And it's a whole movement. It's called the Red Pill Movement. There's a lot to that. I'll have to do a deep dive, but there's literally videos out there on Netflix, Hulu, YouTube, where you can learn about the Manosphere, the Red Pill movement, some of those individuals that are a part of said movement. And meanwhile, some of the key people that are part of said movement had been living lives online that were not in the physical. They were living lives online that were not true. So like I always say, people like receipts don't. [00:11:31] Speaker B: Right. [00:11:31] Speaker C: And so now the receipts are coming out in court that they have been flexing this lifestyle. And meanwhile, they were selling courses and webinars and workshops for our young boys to get rich and to get women. Also on the other side, I recently was going down the rabbit hole of looking at a content creator, the name of Woo lady, which is teaching our young women and girls how to trick. She has a whole tricking university. I'm sharing all this to say that there are different community and spaces on the Internet that our children are going to, that you need to be aware of. So please have conversations with your children, our children, about what they're watching, who they're following, who they're developing parasocial relationships with. Because it's very, very important. Because anyone could be anything on the Internet. Our children deserve better and need to make the Internet a safer place. And so that means that we gotta start at home. That's where it starts. Government's not gonna be able to regulate all of it. They can't even control themselves as we see. So we can't rely on the government to save us as it relates to our children's safety online, because there are children that are meeting strangers every day. There are children that are being groomed by predators every day. And there are things that are happening that we need to be aware of because it's important, because our children matter, because they deserve better. And I'm going to constantly uplift that and constantly say that, because this is my life's mission and my life's work. I hope that you make today a great day. And I hope that you understand the importance of being in tune to what's happening with technology, because it's changing very, very fast. And again, some of these developers don't even know how to fix some of these tools that are breaking out of their constraints and hacking each other and causing digital chaos. We have digital chaos. Okay. To my creatives, make sure that you get your storage drives. I'm telling you, the price is only going to go up. Be intentional, pay attention, okay? Govern yourselves accordingly. And until next time, peace. [00:13:43] Speaker A: Speak up, show up, Lace up. Speak up, show up.
