[00:00:22] Speaker B: Good morning, Happy Monday, and welcome to the Part Walk. You know what time it is? Hey, y'. All. I had an amazing workout. I broke one of my goals on the elliptical. Okay. Woot, woot. So I'm really, really happy and blessed about that. And let me tell you something. I'm here in the serenity garden, just taking in just the beautiful air and the scenery and the vibes, seeing the beautiful butterflies in nature. And I just want to say, God, I thank you. I thank you.
What I find very interesting in all of this is how people will show up when you start talking about things.
And I am going to tell you in the most direct way I can, you're not going to trauma bond and dump on me.
Been there, done that. My inbox is a safe space. Please don't get me wrong. But also, if we haven't had an intentional relationship, don't think that you could just come in my inbox and say whatever to me. And I'm supposed to respond.
I will pick and choose what I respond to. That is my right.
But some of y' all now see the conversation and want to add to it when all this time has gone by and where have you been?
I don't know. Wild.
Wild. I think the most interesting part about some of this is people who say, we family, I love you, have sat silent on some of the things and, you know, continue to sit silent over there, because there's just no way.
There's no way that we could be cool.
No way.
Not when you are aligning with that. Not when you are being complicit in what's happening. Enough is enough.
And I'm going to continue to ask the question to Kojic because there's just no way that they could tell me that this is a person that aligns with their values. And if that's the case, then we need to redefine a bunch of things.
Now, I am a preacher's kid. I've been very vulnerable about that. Being queer and being a pastor's daughter does come with some complexities. But I'm going to unapologetically show up, and I'm going to be me. I'm going to be free to love who I love. And if there are people that have a problem with that, they're free to remove themselves from my life because I'm on a pacemaker. I don't know how long I have on this earth. And I refuse to continue to wear a mask and pretend something that's not.
And I'm encouraging you to evaluate if you're wearing a mask or not.
And take that shit off.
Take it off.
Heal that shit.

So there's so much that's happening in the news as it relates to the state of education and politics. And for my folks in the state of Florida and several counties, early voting starts today.
I am telling you, I am telling you, this is a vital election. I've been saying this for some time now. In fact, let me roll a clip of what I said on Mornington, allegations about the midterms so you could actually hear when I said this back in 2025. Roll the clip.
[00:04:43] Speaker C: 2026 midterms is going to be very, very serious. You need to know everyone's name down the ballot and vote intentionally when you do.
So the question is, who benefits?
Just like the last episode when I was like, when they say it's for the kids, and I'm like, well, whose kids? I have questions, okay, who benefits? Because it's not students, because they're losing resources, they're losing experienced teachers, and they're losing stable schools. It's not the educators because they're being devalued, they're overworked, and they're blamed for systemic failures. And it's not the communities, because they're losing local control, they're losing school buildings, they're losing accountability. So who does this benefit?
[00:05:30] Speaker B: So now we're here, and now we have an opportunity to make sure that our voices are heard. I am dealing with some complexities as I'm living abroad, trying to vote. And that's a whole nother conversation for another day. But just continue to keep me uplifted in prayer as I am trying to do my due diligence here in a different country to exercise my right to vote. So keep me uplifted. But while I navigate that, I'm going to encourage the folks that are there.
There's no excuse.
You have no excuse.
So while I'm dealing with my complexities and doing the things on my end, I'm asking for you to do the same and make sure that you're exercising every possible way that you can to turn in the ballot, fill it out intentionally, because Election Day is coming.
It's in less than 20 days, folks, and we need to make sure that we are intentional with the things that are on the ballot, particularly the amendments and some of the judges that are serving some of the school board members that are serving the attorney general.
As you know, been very, very vocal about U.S. senate race with Angie Nixon versus Ashley Moody.
I have shared with you that I have done design work for Angie Nixon. She is a client of mine, and I am very happy and proud of her. And I pray that she makes it to the finish line as Ashley Moody has been taking a bunch of money, pouring into ads, lying in each single ad, but not being transparent about what happened with the Hope Florida scandal. And in fact, you have lawmakers that are doing everything to try to cover it up and to prevent it from even being talked about on the airwaves and on televisions, which is wild work.
But here we are. Evan Power, who is the chair of the Republican Party, he's been posting about Angie Nixon multiple times a day. At one point I commented and I was just like, are you okay?
Like, why do you keep talking about Angie on your platform, on your digital space? That's wild to me. And some of the things, most of all the things that he's saying is lies.
[00:08:15] Speaker C: Why?
[00:08:16] Speaker B: Why y' all lying?
And so I understand people don't trust the process and don't trust the government.
Please, I get you. I understand.
But just try this one time. If you haven't before of casting your vote and making sure your vote counts, could you do that for me?
Because if I'm unable to, I' ma need somebody to go in the paint for me if I can't. And that's just even sad to even think about.
But anyway, I am sending y' all so much love, light and peace as you're on your journey, as you're navigating the complexities of life as people are people and people are people in y'.

[00:09:09] Speaker B: And ultimately, you have to protect your peace in this advocacy fight. I have been called all things but a child of God and some by politicians and pastors and people who hold prestigious titles, such as the president of the NAACP branch in Hillsborough County. I mean, there are some things that I have said, I have shared and some of which I haven't, of just the harm when you are advocating for children.
There is a case that I posted about, I wrote an article about. And I don't really think people have paid too much attention to it just because of everything else that's going on. But this is very serious. So I'm uplifted again.
There was a Riverview High School student that was falsely accused of making a school shooting threat because the ex girlfriend decided to frame him using AI.
Y', all, I have been on this platform, I have been in several digital spaces talking about the dangers of these cell phones AI and how we need to have conversations with our children and how to be responsible. Because just because they know how to use the tools doesn't necessarily mean that they understand the consequences. And now you have a young teenager who is now fighting multiple felony counts for an AI image that probably took all of 5, 10 minutes to create and do, and is now having to fight felony charges as a result of what took place.
And so parents, it's not even just about checking the cell phones anymore. It's also being aware of what your children are creating.
Your children are creating AI flyers to promote them fighting each other. I can't make it up. I don't need to.
The receipts are all posted on the Internet.
And some things I don't post and amplify because they're minors. I just need you to be aware of the dangers and the things that are going on. You see how some of our adults are using the Internet, even pastors.
And speaking of, you know, I find it so problematic when people say that they are a representative of of God and don't act godlike.
And while we are humans and we make mistakes and we need grace because, hell, I've made so many mistakes and I have said things and done things. I've had to be held accountable. And if I'm wrong, I have told people, please hold me accountable. Don't let me be out here loud and wrong and ignorant.
Hold me accountable. Just like I expect people to be held accountable, I also want people to keep that same energy with me.
And it's unfortunate that you have people that hold these titles that say I'm a pastor or I'm a politician or I'm such and such and their actions don't align with the title. Now, y' all know I'm about to be petty, right?
So you have folks that's out here saying that they a politician and being at one point closely adjacent and aligned in the political world. I now understand the new meaning of for the people. Sometimes when politicians say that they're for the people, it actually means that they're for the streets. Okay?
So we have to be very mindful of these people that are running for office, that hold office.
What do they do? What is their conduct like? What is their day to day? How do they interact with people? It's so important, so important.
And meanwhile, you have individuals that's out here playing games and our children deserve better. So again, with this AI situation and the school shooting threat, I just will continue to amplify that.

So Meta is not going to intentionally push my content, talking about social media safety and regulation when I'm actually talking about their platform needing to be regulated. Which, speaking of, let me pause here for a moment. So we had an entire no Kings protest. And why was pages and things suppressed?
Huh?
This is why I'm saying, like, we need more oversight on the things that are going on and the things that are happening because you have these tech companies that are doing whatever it is.
You had Elon talk about this flying car and people can barely afford groceries.
I just wonder where our priorities are. But if you look at the Florida budget, we do see that the priorities are not on children. As again, more school districts are having conversations. Duval county getting ready to sell their waterfront property. You got Broward, one of the largest school districts in the state of Florida. There is.
Employees are going to have to pay for their insurance. And it's a whole bunch of stuff going on. If we go district by district.
I told you, Leon, they went to have a vote so that they could get a loan to meet payroll.
Y', all, Leon is the state capitol. The state capitol.
And they need a loan to meet payroll to pay their staff that are responsible for the education of our children. The future, if you don't see how problematic that is, I don't know what else to say. But I've been sounding the alarm and people have been sounding the alarm as well. Teaching for the Culture has been sounding the alarm with different community partners that are doing the same thing, sounding the alarm to how this school system is not sustainable.
And guess who gets left behind at the end?
Our children. And at some point, we'll have to demand better. I don't know if that's taking it to the streets like how they did in France.
I don't know if y' all been seeing the content, I'm gonna post some clips here so y' all can see it in Paris.
Oh, they shutting. They shutting things down over there.
They are shutting things down. And I just wonder, will it happen like that in the United States after this midterm?
What will it take for our government officials to stop lying, stealing, and cheating? And again, not all, but it's a lot of them that have power, that are in control. So get ready to have brand day. And I'm excited for the things that I'm going to accomplish. And again, shout out to Riverside because they have completely elevated the way that I make content now.
