[00:00:00] Speaker A: Good morning, happy Thursday and welcome to the power rug. You know what time it is? Listen, I know it's been a minute and there's some great reasons why relocating to a new country re establishing my routine has been so healing and helpful for your girl. Okay. I've been in the lab, I've been creating things.
I have been having business consults. I've been making impact. And I was reminded today that I have done work for some of the most powerful people, most powerful voices in the world.
And I have a global impact and I am here for all of it.
So morning. Teen allegations.
Yes, indeed. I am thankful for the discipline to continue to push through. I really enjoy the preparation for the show and having vital conversations. I'm very passionate about the things that are happening in our education system and it's not sustainable. Been saying this for some years now. So the question is, how do we fix it? Well, I just want to uplift that. We need to really tap into our children and to invest in them and to listen. They have so much access to technology and AI where their brain has been able to retain things that you couldn't even imagine. And we need to tap into that. We need to ask them more questions. We need to have them to be more involved in our world because it is shifting and changing so quickly. What used to be is not anymore. And as an auntie in this world, I'm looking to the young ones to lead. And of course I will help facilitate. I will provide words of wisdom, an affirmation. But ultimately, the children are our future and we can't get blindsided by that. I am witnessing so much chaos that has taken place with the Florida Department of Transportation. The Florida Department of Transportation has spent so much labor resources to ensure that there are no markings on roadways. Yet there are several potholes and things that are happening out here that is within their jurisdiction, that is within their control that hasn't been fixed or addressed yet. How about the Department of Transportation tackled the spam with E pass as Floridians are being scammed, thinking that their license is going to be suspended because they didn't pay their toll bill because there's erroneous texts that are going out that look very, very similar to the ePass website that has not been shut down, taken down, and the folks that are doing it haven't been held accountable. I don't know. I can name off a couple of ideas that the Department of Transportation in particular could do instead of the things that they're doing, but ultimately this was A policy that was instituted higher than them. So I go back to what I said in my morning show, Morning teen allegations in 2026.
The mission, the goal, what needs to be implemented and executed. You ready? You listening? You need to be intentional with every person's name down the ballot. I don't care if they are D, A, R, A, I, A, B, C, D, E, F, G, E, I don't care. Be intentional down the ballot knowing their names, knowing the position, knowing the duties of that position, and you having an intentional game plan of who you're voting for for each position, regardless of what side of the aisle and what party they are affiliated with. While we're having conversations of we need more options instead of D and R, follow the money, it's not set up for that.
So, okay, I hear, well, we need to make sure that we get people registered to vote. Okay, hear that. But just looking at the number of people who are registered to vote and the margins of the people who actually vote, there's a huge gap there. And then you have people that are like, well, we gotta tap more into social media. And social media has been weaponized for political speech. So this means that we actually have to talk to one another. These are things that we're going to have to create virtual spaces for that are outside of Meta, outside of TikTok, outside of insert whatever platform here that suppresses political conversation. Because there's profit in the problem, there's profit in the problem with education, there's profit in the problem when it comes to policy, there's profit in the problem. When it comes to the infrastructure and capitalism and what we're currently living in. Traveling abroad, going to new countries and seeing how different things are ran in that country and doing research on their structure and how they do things is very revealing. Once you step yourself out of the environment that you're used to, that you're accustomed to, then you challenge yourself to think differently.
For the folks in Tampa, I've talked about the city council race. Early voting starts today. Election day is on September 9th. And how the field is so diverse with so many different candidates. There is a high likelihood that there will be a runoff and that this will be extended until October. The policies, politics that exist makes me very grateful that I'm no longer in the line of fire. To see the fake page of Ben Vineker go against each other on Facebook and Instagram, it's a sight to see. I've already shared who I think is responsible for the Facebook page. I can't speak to Instagram that was created just about six, seven days ago. But for that Facebook page, I've been a target. And I've talked about that page on the power walk. And like they said, I was one of the reasons why the page was created. And they put in parentheses, fat ass. So guess what? My fat ass is on the treadmill today. Amen. And I just want to uplift. That was done in the dark is going to come out in the light. And you better be careful with what you messing with and what you fooling with, because it does show up. It does come full circle. I am telling you from experience, folks. I'm telling you that I've experienced my karma. Not perfect, but there's three keys that I go by now having always. Sometimes I stumble. But the three keys, accountability, transparency, and integrity. And I took that pledge in 2019 to take my life back and be a better human. Like I said, I didn't always follow these three keys.
And sometimes I make mistakes, and I thank God for God's grace and mercy. But you better be careful with the people that you mess with and that you fool around with and that you associate with and et cetera, et cetera, because things come full circle. It's so interesting witnessing the conversations about this bishop in this alleged check fraud to the tune of $46,000, and watching the conversations about that. And I say names. I don't have no problem with that. Bishop Michelle B. Patty had an issue with me because I can't be bought. I'm going to stand up for what is right. And during the superintendent search for Hillsborough County Public Schools, that experience was so wild that that's why I started documenting it. Morning tea and allegations started on my birthday in 2020.
The superintendent search was wild. And I was one of the people that was in the room. And there were people that were upset that a room even existed. And one of the former school board members was upset that she wasn't in the room, although she would be hiring the candidate. So it didn't make sense for her to be in the room. I don't want to replay and rehash all of that, but I just want to uplift that what is done in the dark will come into the light. And the people that were in that room are some of the same people that are creating chaos in the community now. And I would still be living in that community had things didn't change and shift the way that it did. But I also thank God for it, because I wouldn't be having this experience, this opportunity if it wasn't for that, I shared yesterday on the Heal that Shit podcast, recording that yesterday marked my two year anniversary of getting on the plane, going to Belize and resetting and healing. I went through a very painful divorce, a public one at that. And that trip to Belize not only saved my life, but it changed my life. And it's a catalyst as to why I am so blessed and thankful to be a digital nomad now. So I'm thankful that in the midst of the storms and all of that, that I'm able to look at that and be like, wow, look at how far I've come in two years. Since that, I've been able to travel to many different countries. After that, I found love again.
I'm accomplishing my goals. I'm resetting myself financially. I thank God. So I want to leave you with this message to be careful with who you associate with, with who you are aligning yourself with. Because everyone that is aligning themselves to you is not for you. And what's done in the dark will always show up. It manifest in light and you reap what you sow. And I've had to do my reaping for the things that I've been sowing. And I thank God for grace and redemption and renewal and holding myself accountable for those missteps and those things that I've done and I've contributed to the things that I'm currently dealing with. But folks, I. I have a pacemaker. Stress can kill me. And it can also kill you too, without a pacemaker. So please be intentional with your health. It is so important. It's only one you. You are worthy. I hope that you have a blessed day. I'm sending you love, light and peace. And until the next time, peace.
[00:09:49] Speaker B: This ain't just a podcast. It's a protest on pavement. Unfiltered, unbothered, and unapologetically with your host, Bianca. And this is the power walk.
Now. Walk with me.
People lie. Receive stone people. I receive.
