I've been making content and it hasn't been the power walk. I stepped on the scale and was like, oh, my God. Insert sound effect here. [00:00:44] Speaker A: Oh, my God. [00:00:45] Speaker B: So here I am, I'm at the gym. I'm taking a break. I'm in here by myself today, which is great. It's nice and I'm very thankful. Couple of things that I wanted to let y' all know. One, I need y' all to pay attention to what's happening in politics, nationwide, wherever you at, okay? Even the politics here in Colombia, I've had to be intentional with. Okay? When I say everywhere, I need you to be intentional with politics. Whether you are an active participant or not, whether you are politically astute or not, whether you have the political background knowledge or not, it is important that you are intentional whether you are actively participating in politics or not. Politics is impacting you every single day, and I'm seeing it all over the globe. Okay? With that being stated, I need you to check your voter registration status. I don't know how many times I need to say this and uplift this, but particularly when you're in certain key states, this is very much applicable to you. Okay, everybody, you need to go to your supervisor of elections and you need to check on your voter registration status. There are national resources that are available that I'm going to plug in. We'll give you all the information per the state that you're in so that you can get engaged and so that you know when these dates are. These dates are quickly approaching. And when I tell you the back and forth as it relates to the primary election on both sides of the aisle. And hear me, I'm not a fan of the two party system. Haven't been a fan. Some people are having regrets for the decisions that they've made in the ballot box. And now is not the time to be regretful. Now is the time to get more people involved so that we could change the numbers. The numbers change when people go to the polls to actually vote. You know how many people sat on the sideline that could have influenced the election in so many ways, but they chose to sit home and not vote? And then we'll get on social media and complain about how gas is so high, about how there's a food Desert in their area or property tax or income tax, or insert all these different taxes here, have gone up or. Or it's hard for them to get a good quote for auto insurance or like the things. Right. So I go back to my folks in Florida because I'm a Florida girl at heart again, I just want to uplift the stats. I've done it before. I'm gonna do it again because this is a very, very valid question and I would love to have some answers with some fidelity. I have posted this on Facebook, I posted this on threads, and I will say I got a lot of different reactions as it relates to this question, but again, still a very valid question. If we've had Republican leadership in the state of Florida for over 20 years, 27 to be exact, where they occupied the governor's mansion, they had majority in the House, in the Senate, who do we hold accountable for these outcomes? When teachers are being paid 50th in the nation for almost three consecutive years? It might be four now. When teachers are paid 50th in a nation which, by the way, school grades came out, and there's a lot to be said about that. I want to say congratulations to the educators and the students and the support staff. There are now districts that are now a rated that haven't been a rated ever or haven't been a rated in a long time. And so shout out to those school districts. With that being said though, they had a bill that was passed and I talked about this some time ago, where they wanted to have charters to cohabitate space with some public schools and also have some charter takeovers where the entire public school was shut down and a charter would take over. If the schools are now passing and we don't have all these failing schools, does that halt what was proposed as it relates to the charter takeover and the charter cohabitation situation? This is a question that I have. I look forward to getting answers with fidelity because it was a bunch of narratives about failing schools. And now that we have manufactured these numbers yet again. Okay, let's just call a thing a thing, not discounting the work. Please understand it. But also please note, if you actually do research on the numbers and how they've changed year to year, you will understand that there's a lot of data manipulation that happens. Okay, moving that aside, how is that going to work? Because I have questions and I also have questions as it relates to y' all mean to tell me that y' all had to showdown and did not have a governor debate because all These candidates didn't raise 10 million. And then you mean to tell me that now he done raised almost $80 million? I know what I'm going to do. I'm starting a new series and I'm calling it Follow the Money. I'm going to go and pull up all of these candidates campaign reports. I'm going to analyze them and I'm going to give you a breakdown of who is contributing to the campaign because we need to follow the money. We need to know who is sponsoring these campaigns, where the money is coming from, because there's a profit in the problem. I'm preaching the same thing I've been talking about, okay? Now I'm about to go back moving my body, but I just want to let you know that the candidate that I'm pulling is Byron. I'm pulling his report since there's a lot of talks about how much he was able to fundraise. And he was able to fundraise way more than Ron DeSantis. So that gives me some clues as to what to look for and to what companies are behind it. And I want to expose it and I want to take y' all with me because it's important that y' all had this information and that y' all follow the money too, because again, there's a profit in the problem. Make today amazing. Make this weekend amazing. Wherever you are, I just want to say I'm sending you love, light and peace.
